Facts from Fiction

One of my most memorable and instructive learning experiences was doing public records research and education that led to community organizing and political action. Probably the most educational aspect of our volunteer work was in producing court decisions that clearly distinguished facts from fiction.

While the overall litigation experience was not especially pleasant, contrasting what corrupt officials said under oath with what they said in press releases was very satisfying. We also won every case.
